Commander Naiades and her Death Squid Army

I figured I'd do this one using Flash since I haven't used it for a while. It was gonna be a full painting but who has time for that? I use reference whenever I draw something I don't know that well. I went to google and searched for "bearded guy lying down next to giant squid" and I found this. Google is awesome.

I've been working on personal projects which I'd rather not post til it's done so that's why I haven't been posting often. My main project will look similar to the monster above. :) Been busy at work too. We just finished season one for "Growing Up Creepie" and I'm really hoping to land a job on a crazy-cool action show at the same studio.

Poor Man's Sketchbook

Behold 'The Poorman's Sketchbook!' Made from copy paper and a manilla folder cut down to about 8" x 8 1/2", and 5 medium-sized binder clips. Some co-workers and I were going to go out sketching during lunch and of course I forgot my sketchbook at home...so I made one...and I like it better than any other sketchbook that I ever bought. You get to draw your own cover!
