Commander Naiades and her Death Squid Army

I figured I'd do this one using Flash since I haven't used it for a while. It was gonna be a full painting but who has time for that? I use reference whenever I draw something I don't know that well. I went to google and searched for "bearded guy lying down next to giant squid" and I found this. Google is awesome.

Oh and Happy Easter!!!

Bummer... I was hoping that photo of me didn't make it onto the internet... *scowls*
(And who's the goof in the cape next to me??)

By the way, in case you hadn't heard the news, Ubby got married and Karen has survived a pretty severe car crash.

Is it my imagination or is the "bearded guy lying down next to giant squid" wearing a super hero cape?
Is it dead because he did battle with it?

I think he can fly upside down and he just landed that way.

You fell off my radar but I have a new system to prevent such things now. I guess the teaching gig is fairly new. Congratulations on that. They have some nice art on their opening page but your art depicts a fun class.

I didn't know you could paint in Flash. I thought it was just for animating and the painting was done in other programs. Anyway, nice job.

Scrolling down I really, really like your public service announcement. Yes, brush after every meal and don't forget to floss once a day even if you have bat wings and two devil tails.

Tom: Yeah, I would recommend Illustrator or Photoshop over Flash for painting. It is kind of buggy. I do like the brush tool in Flash though.

It's difficult to keep up with all the other blogs out there. I'm always happy that people stop by!

Sorry! Been really busy...I don't think I'll have time to post anything until after Comic-con...:(
If they'd let me post stuff from the show I'm working on right now and have tons of stuff. :P
