
Hopefully a big step up from the pencil version. I guess this has Tim Burton's influence without stepping on his toes as far as style goes. You know, dark characters with a sense of humor. A light side.
Also, there's a lot of gimmicky 'goth' characters all over stores like Hot Topic and whatever. It kind of cheapens the genre. To me anyway. I just want to create characters with a little more substance...not just icons. That's one of the reasons why I like Tim Burton. His characters are real, not just
sticker-and-lunch-box-fodder. You can stick them in just about any situation and come up with a fun story. Just my thoughts.... ;)
